Bumblebees Send Albany Home with 7-5 Loss
The Pasadena Bumblebees topped the Albany Firebirds, 7-5, with shortstop Robby Williams playing a big role. Williams went 2-3 with a double and a walk for the Bumblebees in the win. Ryan Sartore earned the save, his 7th. Pasadena now sports a record of 65-56.

Jose Castillo had a big 2-run home run for the Bumblebees in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Pasadena leading 3-0 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a fastball from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Jim Metcalfe and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Bumblebees on top, 5-0.

"We scored enough runs to win," said Williams.
