The Pasadena Bumblebees withstood a fine game by Albany first baseman Will Dudley at The Hole, to upend the Firebirds, 6-4. Dudley was 2-4 with 2 home runs. Ryan Sartore locked down his 8th save. The Bumblebees now have a record of 66-56 with the win over Albany.

The Bumblebees got a big hit from pinch hitter Rickey Goodman. In the bottom of the sixth, Goodman smacked a 2-run double off Albany pitcher Steve Ferris. It was his 3rd double of the season. Suddenly, the Bumblebees were ahead, 5-4.

Said Pasadena manager David Williams: "At the end of the day, these guys have to perform between the lines, and I think they did."
