The State College Swallowtails grabbed a win, 8-4, over the Acadia Park Nationals at Stars Field. State College designated hitter Josh Ehrhardt went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The last-place Nationals dropped to 42-81.

Ehrhardt contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for State College in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 4-3, Ehrhardt took a cutter from David Baxley and stroked the home run to left. His 19th home run of the season allowed the Swallowtails to leap in front, 5-4.

State College manager Afalku Coffie commended his team for "putting the pedal to the metal."
