With Late Score, Bumblebees Beat Ambition
The Hole was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Pasadena Bumblebees and Indianapolis Ambition.

The Pasadena Bumblebees powered past the Indianapolis Ambition, 9-8, at The Hole. Aaron Chandler provided some of the pop. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Matt Acrey earned the save for Pasadena, his 1st of the year.

Mark Lloyd had a big 2-run home run for the Bumblebees in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Pasadena trailing 6-5 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from Will Witten, who is tied for 2nd in the TAAA in complete games with 8, and punished it. The result was his 21st home run of the season, which put the Bumblebees on top, 7-6.

"Both teams had plenty of clutch hits," said Chandler. "It made for an exciting game."

The third-place Bumblebees now have a record of 73-73.
