Rummer goes 3-for-4, Astoria Gets 4-2 Victory
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 22-year old right fielder Adam Rummer, the Astoria Argonauts stopped the Madison Muskies, 4-2, in 9 innings. The win hiked the Astoria record to 74-73.

Rummer had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a first pitch fastball from Bernard Sabato, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Argonauts a 4-2 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Rummer.

"We need better swings, better at-bats," said losing manager Daniel Breuer.
