The Indianapolis Ambition turned back the Hendersonville Hens, 7-6, at The Coop. Jim Bolger, in particular, had a fine performance. He was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Indianapolis reliever Tom Corfield picked up the win, raising his record to 4-4. John Richardson was tagged with the loss. The Ambition now have a mark of 61-66.

Nick Schroeder chipped in for Indianapolis, stroking a crucial 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning. For the game, the right fielder was 1 for 4 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI.
