The Wind Tunnel was the site of a competitive game between the Waimea Wind and Pasadena Bumblebees.

The Pasadena Bumblebees topped the Waimea Wind, 5-4, with youngster Nick Trahan playing a key role. Trahan went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 4 for the Bumblebees in the win. Pasadena reliever Ben Sylvester picked up the win. Aidan MacNevin took the loss for Waimea.

Pasadena used a timely hit from Rickey Goodman to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Bumblebees ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a difference-maker.

"Nick is still learning," said Bumblebees manager David Williams. "The sky's the limit for him."

The second-place Bumblebees have won 4 straight.
