The Billings Mustangs withstood an impressive performance by Peoria right fielder Juan Lopez to defeat the Caterpillars, 9-8, at Cobb Field. Lopez went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Jeremy Hillman went 6 innings for Billings to pick up the win. The right-hander was charged with 3 runs.
