The Fort Worth Cats picked up a win at LaGrave Field, downing the Anchorage Moose, 10-3. On the mound for Fort Worth was right-hander David Doss, who played a pivotal role in the win. The Cats now own a record of 59-77.

In the bottom of the second, 21-year old second baseman Matt Mulholland hit a bases-clearing double. The 10th double of the season for the Fort Worth shortstop put the Cats on top, 5-2.

"I just try to go out and give it 100 percent every game," Mulholland told a local reporter after the game. "That's my mantra, and like today, it will pay off more often than not."
