Indianapolis Loss Tarnishes Fine Game by Ronca
Tom Ronca had a good game, but he could not keep the Indianapolis Ambition from falling, 11-10, to the Pasadena Bumblebees at The Hole. The Indianapolis first baseman hit 2 home runs. He scored 4 runs and drove in 4 in the loss. The save went to Hicham Munoru, his 6th this season. Pasadena is now 75-63. Indianapolis is 67-71.

Alameda, California-born Jason Strong came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the seventh, with the bases loaded and the Bumblebees trailing 10-9, he hit a 2-run single to center to put Pasadena on top.

"What a game," said Strong. "We needed every last run."
