Fine Effort by McArdle Not Enough in 13-8 Warriors Loss
The inspired effort of Walnut Creek first baseman Kevin McArdle was not enough to prevent a loss, 13-8, to the San Francisco Earthquakes. McArdle went 4-4 with 2 home runs and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. San Francisco, now 12-19, is off to a slow start.

Dylan Robertson, who leads the TML in home runs with 14, chipped in a run-scoring single for San Francisco in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the center fielder had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 2 runs batted in.

Earthquakes manager Zayar Adelabu wasn't all too pleased, despite the win, telling reporters that the performance highlighted some clear areas for improvement moving forward. He refused to be more specific, however. "I'm not gonna publicize our weaknesses," he said. "That stuff stays in the clubhouse."
