Hawaii Beats Bighorn, 6-3

Hawaii and Bighorn duked it out and the Honu came out victorious.
The Hawaii Honu cut down the Bighorn Bison by the score of 6-3, with the largest share of the credit going to designated hitter Sandy Rosales. Rosales went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Honu. Bobby Gilmore earned the win to go to 3-4. He allowed 3 runs on 7 hits, with 4 walks and 5 strikeouts in 7.1 innings of work. Karl Molnar earned the save, his 5th, for the Honu.
Miles Sorrells took Bighorn hurler Jeff Lee deep in the bottom of the third. His 2-run home run put the Honu on top, 2-0. In all, Sorrells had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Hawaii manager Naoki Okada.
The second-place Bison have lost 5 straight games.
