The Montreal Mounties beat the Eagle Rock Ridge Runners, 6-5, in 10 innings at Mount Royal Grounds. Montreal second baseman Cody Jaeger led the way. He went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs. The 5th-place Mounties go to 16-21.

The decisive blow was delivered by Jared Jones in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a solo home run off 27-year old right-handed pitcher Russ Fought to win the game for Montreal. The home crowd went nuts.

"We kept coming at guys," Montreal manager Thomas Hughes said. "We kept digging."
