San Francisco Stymied by Espinoza
|
David Espinoza was in a mood to talk following the Pennsylvania Butterflies contest against the San Francisco Earthquakes, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Earthquakes, 3-0.
"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Espinoza said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."
The left-hander blanked San Francisco on a 1-hitter, allowing 2 walks and racking up 5 strikeouts.
