Bighorn Dismisses Buffalo, 9-4
The Bighorn Bison stopped the Buffalo Bison, 9-4, behind an impressive performance from Jay Starr. The 24-year old left fielder made life miserable for Buffalo pitching. He went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The second-place Bison now have a win-loss record of 21-15.

Bighorn shortstop Jon Michaud contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fourth. With two down, he hit a sinker to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 4th hit of the season and put the Bison ahead, 3-1.

Michaud told the Bighorn Gazette: "Sometimes the big stage is not big enough for me."
