Good production from third baseman Rich Van Fleet helped the Mexico City Luchadores topple the Kansas City Tornadoes, 6-3. Van Fleet was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Luchadores. Dan Wallace recorded the save, his 5th. Mexico City has now won 6 games in a row.

Van Fleet had an important at-bat with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the sixth, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Luchadores went on to win.

"Anyone who says he's not out there thinking about personal accomplishments is not telling the truth," Van Fleet said later.
