Epperson Lays Hammer Down in 1-0 Win
The Dallas Texans got a magnificent effort from pitcher Bob Epperson, who kept Quebec hitters in check en route to a 1-0 Texans win at Lucky 7 Ballpark. The Texans are now 15-22, while the Armada fall to 24-13.

The Armada had little chance against Epperson, who overpowered Quebec hitters and struck out 11.

"Bob's not intimidated by who's stepping into the batter's box," said Dallas manager Lester Burrow.
