The Buffalo Bison dealt the Seattle Sasquatch a 5-3 loss at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium. Josh Bye, who is tied for 3rd in the TML in runs scored with 30, was the star on offense. He went 3 for 4 with 3 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Gary Halliwell picked up the win, lifting his record to 1-1 on the season. He struck out 3 and walked 1 in 8 innings, while yielding 3 runs. The Bison move to 17-19 with the win, while the Sasquatch drop to 15-22.

Buffalo designated hitter Jeff Jessel contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a cutter to left field for a 2-run single. It was his 4th hit of the season and put the Bison ahead, 5-0.

"We're in a little funk right now and we've just got to get ourselves out of it," said Seattle manager Vicente Vargas.
