McEvoy Gets Win in Jacksonville Rout
|
Jacksonville starter Chris McEvoy kept the Bighorn offense in check, while his team cruised to a win, 11-0. The Pilots, now 29-9, have won 12 in a row.
McEvoy, who leaned on his changeup, allowed no runs on just 3 hits over 7 innings for the Pilots. For the most part, Bighorn hitters were simply overmatched.
"The positive vibes are all around the clubhouse," said Pilots manager Ryan Currie. "Once you see a player having a good at-bat, that's really contagious."
