The home crowd had a good time watching the Dallas Texans and Kansas City Tornadoes get after it.

The Kansas City Tornadoes downed the Dallas Texans, 6-4, the largest share of the credit belonging to first baseman Andy Chambers. On the day, Chambers was 4-4 with 2 doubles, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Tornadoes. The save was credited to Bobby Milleville, his 10th.

With Kansas City leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Chambers hit a cutter from Jonathan McMenamin for a 2-run double. It was his 13th double of the season and put the Tornadoes ahead, 4-1.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Chambers.
