The Montreal Mounties picked up a win at Field de Los Layendas, downing the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 6-4. On the mound for Montreal was right-hander Warren Foradori, who played a pivotal role in the win. The Mounties sit in second place in the Roberto Clemente League International Division with a record of 22-17.

Montreal center fielder Gene Johnson helped the Mounties go up, 4-3, in the top of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Johnson hit a run-scoring single off Cabo San Lucas pitcher Ricardo Reyes.

"It's about putting our team in the best position to win ballgames," said Foradori.
