The Houghton Gremlins captured an easy win, 15-1, over the Eagle Rock Ridge Runners at Ozark Mountain Stadium. Miguel Trujillo led the offensive barrage, going 4-for-6 for Houghton. The Gremlins improved their record to 18-17 with the win over Eagle Rock.

With Houghton leading 11-1 in the top of the eighth, Trujillo came up to bat against Eagle Rock pitcher Steve Blaire. Trujillo hit a fastball to right for a grand slam home run. His 6th home run of the season put the Gremlins on top, 15-1.

Quipped losing manager Paco Berroa after the game: "Mama told me there'd be days like this."
