Downward Spiral Continues for San Francisco
The losses keep piling up for the San Francisco Earthquakes.

The 9-2 Buffalo win over San Francisco was due in large part to Mace Kota. The Bison shortstop went 2-2 with a double and 4 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Carl Reusch, who is tied for 7th in the TML in strikeouts with 49, was the winning pitcher. Over 7.2 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 6 hits, with 2 walks and 8 strikeouts.

With Buffalo leading 1-0 in the top of the second, Kota hit a sinker from Jared Ritsch for a run-scoring double. It was his 8th double of the season and put the Bison ahead, 2-0.

"We didn't put up much resistance," said losing manager Zayar Adelabu.
