Eureka Hornets starter Ezedine Adegoke was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Mexico City Luchadores, 8-2. The third-place Hornets hiked their record to 23-19.

Ray Goodwin had a big 3-run home run for the Hornets in the bottom of the eighth inning. With Eureka leading 5-2 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a fastball from 27-year old right-handed pitcher Jim Westberry and punished it. The result was his 5th home run of the season, which put the Hornets on top, 8-2.

"It's about putting our team in the best position to win ballgames," said Adegoke.
