Sasquatch Eke Out 5-4 Win Versus Jacksonville
|
Despite a great performance by Jacksonville catcher John Stoecklin, the Seattle Sasquatch defeated the Pilots by the score of 5-4 at Sasquatch Field at Brewbaker Family Memorial Stadium. Stoecklin was 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 4 RBI. Sam Godfrey, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 9th save. With the win, the Sasquatch improved to 19-23.
The Sasquatch got a big at-bat from catcher Ryan Catalano. For the game, Catalano went 2-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 3rd double of the season gave Seattle a 4-2 lead.
"We were the better team," crowed Catalano.
