The 3-hit performance of Tom Pottle, who is rated as the 86th best prospect by BNN, helped the Vancouver Pioneers beat the Buffalo Bison, 7-2. Joey Tino earned the win, while 32-year old right-handed pitcher Ben Molter took the loss for Buffalo. The triumph puts Vancouver at 22-19 for the season.

Pottle contributed in the bottom of the fourth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a run-scoring double. It was one at-bat among others that helped Vancouver get the win.

Pottle said he was "thrilled" the fans had something to get excited about.
