The Nest was the site for Roberto Clemente League action featuring the Eureka Hornets and Montreal Mounties.

Leonardo Cortez never let Eureka get something going. The Montreal right-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the Mounties to a 5-1 win. Montreal is now 31-12, while Eureka is 25-18.

Montreal used the hitting of Arnold Lysek to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put the Mounties on top, 3-1. For the game, Lysek had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

Montreal manager Julián Martínez praised his team's "businesslike approach."
