The Maple Marauders topped the Bighorn Bison, 8-7, at Ram Brewery Ballpark. Maple third baseman Efrain Ruiz was a spark plug for the offense. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Dennis Krupski came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. His record now stands at 2-0. Josh Wahl earned save number 3 this season.

In the top of the sixth, the Marauders grabbed the lead when Ruiz hit his 5th home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Ruben Rodriguez made it 8-6, Maple.

"That's a solid team effort right there," said Ruiz. "Everyone's feeling positive after that win."

The Marauders improved to 19-24.
