The home crowd had a good time watching the Eagle Rock Ridge Runners and Chicago Eclipse get after it.

Brad Davidson powered the Chicago Eclipse to a win over the Eagle Rock Ridge Runners. The final score was 14-7. The Chicago catcher, who is a two-time All-Star, was phenomenal. He stroked 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. The winning pitcher was Alberto Calderon. His record now stands at 5-1. The left-hander went 7.1 innings, allowing 5 runs on 4 hits for the Eclipse.

Israel Cardenas had a big bases-clearing double for the Eclipse in the bottom of the first inning. With Chicago leading 2-1 and the bases loaded, he got a slider from 20-year old right-handed pitcher Terry Hearn and swatted a double to left. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Eclipse ahead, 5-1.

"Anything I can do to help the team win," said Davidson.

Chicago now sits at 26-19, while Eagle Rock falls to 24-20.
