Salstrom, Earthquakes Too Much for Sasquatch
|
The San Francisco Earthquakes knocked off the Seattle Sasquatch, 5-3, at Sasquatch Field at Brewbaker Family Memorial Stadium. Dusty Salstrom was a big reason San Francisco won. The third baseman went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. San Francisco reliever Rosario Lulli snagged the win, upping his record to 2-1. Connor Andreyev shouldered the loss. The San Francisco win streak is now 3 games.
Salstrom had a timely hit for San Francisco in the top of the ninth. With San Francisco trailing 3-2, he turned a 1-0 slider into a 3-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season, making it 5-3, San Francisco.
"It was a good effort all around," said Salstrom.
