Blazers Win 2-1 Nail-Biter Versus Butterflies
The Bloomington Blazers picked up a win at Arson Arena, knocking off the Pennsylvania Butterflies, 2-1. On the mound for Bloomington was right-hander Josh McCloud. He played a key role in the triumph. Bloomington currently is in second place in the Thurman Munson League East Division at 26-21.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Bloomington shortstop Salvador Paima, facing Dakson Rocket, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Blazers the 2-1 win.

"We had the right guys up at the right times," said Pennsylvania manager Aaron Barnes. "We just didn't cash in."
