Quincy Littlejohn led the Bloomington Blazers to a nifty 10-2 win over the Buffalo Bison. The Bloomington shortstop, who finished 5th in the RCL in runs with 114 in 2061, was a force of nature. He banged out 3 extra-base hits, including 2 home runs and 1 double. The win went to Jay Vincent in relief, making him now 1-0. Salvador Aguilar took the loss for Buffalo. With the win, the Blazers sit at 25-21.

Lateef Zitouna had a big solo home run for the Blazers in the top of the fifth inning. With Bloomington leading 2-1 and the bases empty, he sized up a circle change from top prospect Salvador Aguilar and punished it. The result was his 5th home run of the season, which put the Blazers on top, 3-1.

"We took it on the chin tonight," said losing manager Jon Green.
