Thor Odinson, who leads the RCL in innings pitched with 58.2, had a strong outing for the Seattle Sasquatch against the El Paso Mavericks at Sasquatch Field at Brewbaker Family Memorial Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 6-3 win. Caleb Brickhouse recorded the save, his 11th. The win elevated the Sasquatch to 24-16.

Corbin Betts, who finished 4th in the RCL in hits with 188 last year, took El Paso hurler Bret Naughton deep in the bottom of the first. His 2-run home run put the Sasquatch on top, 2-0. In all, Betts had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Betts told the Seattle Today.
