Dempsey, Warriors March to 12-3 Victory
The Walnut Creek Warriors pinned a convincing loss on the Pennsylvania Butterflies, 12-3, at The Kaleidoscope. Fred Dempsey was a main factor in the win. He went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs, while scoring 3 and driving in 4 for Walnut Creek. Joseph Fredericks picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-0. He struck out 9 in 5.2 innings. Riley Adams earned the save for Walnut Creek.

With Walnut Creek leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Dempsey hit a sinker from Bruce Hauber for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Warriors ahead, 4-0.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Dempsey.
