Lake Monsters Rally For Late Win Over Five O's
Fans of the Okanagan Lake Monsters who packed the stands for the home opener were rewarded with a Okanagan win over the visiting Oconomowoc Five O's, 2-0. Bill Lovett started for the home team against Matt Farnsworth. Matt Farnsworth earned accolades for his performance. Jorge Ramirez picked up the win in relief. Rodolfo Alarcon took the loss for Oconomowoc.

Okanagan got a clutch hit from Adam White. The right fielder launched a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

"Tough win," said White. "We had to earn it."
