Mexico City Beats Chicago in Extra Innings
Extra innings were needed to determine a winner at The Royal Grounds.

Jonathan Sibiga was instrumental in his team's 7-5, extra-inning triumph over the Chicago Eclipse. The second baseman went 1-3 with a home run, 2 walks, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Mexico City Luchadores. Dan Wallace snagged the win in relief. He goes to 2-2 on the season. Joe Umlah suffered the loss.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 11th. With one out, Sibiga hit a fastball from Joe Umlah for a 2-run home run. The Luchadores, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"We couldn't have scripted it any better," Sibiga said in his postgame press conference.

The first-place Eclipse dropped to 29-21.
