Oscar Alfaro, who is tied for 9th in the RCL in innings pitched with 70.0, propelled his team to victory over the Eagle Rock Ridge Runners. The final score was 6-4, West Island. With the win over Eagle Rock, the Jazz improved to 26-24.

George Patten had a big 2-run double for the Jazz in the bottom of the sixth inning. With West Island leading 4-3 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a fastball from Jeromir Hamrlik, who finished 5th in the RCL in innings pitched with 206.0 in 2060, and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Jazz ahead, 6-3.

"That's what I love about baseball," said Patten. "No matter how good or how bad you did, you get to wake up the next day and start all over."
