The West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws tallied a win at The Rain Forest, throttling the St. Petersburg Pelicans, 9-2. Starting pitcher Sam Orton was a big reason for his team's success. The win takes West Virginia to 5-4.

Eddy Velasco, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2063 draft, helped out the West Virginia cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the first baseman was 1-3 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"If you don't take any pitches off, you've got a chance to impact the game, and that's what we did," said West Virginia skipper Guy de Kleijn.
