Li-zhi Chung was masterful in helping the Hazleton Birdwings take down the Houston Sting, 4-1. In 7 innings, Chung surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 6. He allowed 1 run. Hazleton now has a record of 4-4.

The Birdwings got a big at-bat from third baseman Beau McCann. For the game, McCann was 1-3 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 5th double of the season gave Hazleton a 2-1 lead.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Houston manager Barnabé Bacm.
