Vikings Pull Off Thrilling 3-2 Win in Extras
In a low-scoring affair between the Victoria Vikings and the San Angelo Mustangs, pitcher Chris Cox was the difference between victory and defeat. The Victoria right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-2 Vikings win. The win went to Trevor Baker in relief, making him now 1-0. Dustin Booth took the loss for San Angelo. Victoria has a mark of 6-3 after the win.

The Vikings got a clutch hit from third baseman Rogelio Roman. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Vikings.

"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Cox.
