In a low-scoring contest between the Baltimore Magicians and the Okanagan Lake Monsters, Jeff Raether was the X factor. The Baltimore left-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. Baltimore pitcher Nick Macauley got the win. He's now 1-0. Lonnie Newcomb was tagged with the loss. The loss drops Okanagan to 5-4.

Baltimore took a 3-1 lead on Will Moreno's 6th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Moreno hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Okanagan pitcher Qing-nian Liu visibly frustrated.

"I was seeing the ball well tonight," said Moreno.
