The Kingwood Knights wiggled past the Okanagan Lake Monsters, 7-6, at Stable Park. The win was highlighted by the performance of Kingwood third baseman Dan Weber. Kingwood, now 5-9, is off to a slow start.

Kingwood got a knockout punch from Ricardo Gonzales. The center fielder hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

Weber said afterward that he was "glad the fans were treated to a good ballgame."
