Bison Get One-Run Win at Bloomington
The Bighorn Bison did just enough to sneak past the Bloomington Blazers, 4-3, at Arson Arena. Bighorn pitcher Wes Stith, in particular, had a standout performance. The winner was Stith. He threw 6.0 innings allowing 1 run. The loser was Mike Hursh. Jeff Pritchard closed it out for his 3rd save.

Jay Starr, who is tied for 10th in the RCL in hits with 53, had a direct impact on the outcome. Starr contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Bighorn up, 2-1.

"I don't lose sleep over a loss," said Starr. "But I have better dreams after a win."

With the victory, the Bison record stands at 20-24.
