Birdwings Suffer 7-1 Home Loss

Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Brisbane Bush Wackers and Hazleton Birdwings.
The Hazleton Birdwings had to reckon with Brisbane Bush Wackers hurler Esteban Castaneda. Castaneda overwhelmed the opposition in the 7-1 Bush Wackers triumph. The loss drops Hazleton to 6-11.
The Bush Wackers got a big at-bat from right fielder D.J. Reinhardt. For the game, Reinhardt was 1-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the top of the second, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Brisbane a 2-0 lead.
"We played hard and won," said Castaneda. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
