River Bandits Solve Brownsville in Extra Innings
The San Antonio River Bandits racked up a win at Bandits Grove, bumping off the Brownsville Bandits, 8-7, in 10 innings. Mike Englund, who started for San Antonio, pitched effectively for his team. Angel Bonilla closed the door for San Antonio, picking up his 3rd save of the year. The Bandits fall to 5-10.

San Antonio used the timely hitting of Nate Thomas to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the River Bandits on top, 8-7. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"I was just taking it batter by batter, just enjoying the moment," said Englund.
