Chippewa got a strong outing from Diego Pais as the River Chiefs defeated the Kingwood Knights, 4-2, at Stable Park. Chippewa goes to 13-6 with the win.
Elias Spaans had a direct impact on the outcome. Spaans contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fifth inning to put Chippewa up, 2-0.
