Ocala registered a win at Levitow Park by beating the Nichols Gnats, 13-4. Pitcher Josh Prudhomme was one reason why the Knights triumphed. The win gives Ocala a record of 12-7.

Mike Seagren had a big 2-run home run for the Knights in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Ocala trailing 2-1 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a fastball from 20-year old right-handed pitcher Jose Contreras and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Knights on top, 3-2.

Nichols manager Mike Nevil said: "We'll rinse this one off and get ready for the next game."
