The Kansas City Tornadoes rode a solid performance from 20-year-old starting pitcher John Nauss to a win, beating the Montreal Mounties, 4-2, at Mount Royal Grounds. The win gives the Tornadoes a record of 3-3.

Kansas City won the game in part because of Vinnie Fasnacht. The shortstop ripped a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Tornadoes ahead, 4-2. For the game, Fasnacht had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
