The Kansas City Tornadoes picked up a win at The Nest, dropping the Eureka Hornets, 5-0. John Nauss, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2062 draft, was the difference-maker. The win puts Kansas City at 19-33.

The Tornadoes got a big at-bat from catcher Ernest Fortin. For the game, Fortin was 2-3 with 2 doubles and a walk. He scored 3 runs. In the top of the fifth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 4th double of the season gave Kansas City a 1-0 lead.
