Tapps Excels in 11-6 San Francisco Win
The San Francisco Earthquakes stopped the Bighorn Bison, 11-6, at Ram Brewery Ballpark. The Earthquakes got a big game from Elijah Tapps, who was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 7 RBI and scoring once. Chris Crawford got the win, improving to 3-5. He worked 5.1 innings, giving up 4 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 3. The loss makes Bighorn 27-25.

With San Francisco leading 4-3 in the top of the fifth, Tapps hit a fastball from David Franco for a grand slam home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Earthquakes ahead, 8-3.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Tapps told the San Francisco News.
