The Charleston Panthers downed the St. Paul Saints, 8-7. The hitting star was third baseman Mario Rivas. Rivas was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Panthers. The Panthers, with only their 7th win in 29 games, have not had much to write home about in 2064.
Rivas had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the seventh, when he hit a grand slam home run. The Panthers went on to win.
