With second baseman Jerry Griffin leading the charge, the Ocala Knights defeated the St. Paul Saints, 10-8, at Saints Ballpark. Griffin went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. John Cochrane closed out the game, earning his 8th save. The loss drops St. Paul to 8-19.

The game was all tied up in the top of the ninth, until Griffin delivered big-time for Ocala, stroking a dramatic 2-run home run off Roberto Diaz. The game-changing hit put the Knights on top, 10-8.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Griffin said. "We did a good job of that today."
